Poesis draws from the colors of Los Angeles, and the legacy of the finish fetish movement. Following a research process using aluminum wire to explore form, those shapes came out semi-enclosed, suggesting volume through negative space rather than explicating it. The resulting objects are simultaneously ends in themselves and compressed models of larger systems.
